Tyrese is a Justice Advisor with the Connecticut Justice Alliance where he shares his passion for transforming systems, with a specific interest in raising the minimum age of arrest in CT. Since Tyrese has joined the team, he’s become proficient in Public Speaking, the legislative process, and creating educational content. He believes in doing what you’re supposed to do regardless of who’s watching, as well as priority over pleasure; and Islam. Tyrese drives garbage trucks in the morning and is a CNA at night. His mission is to teach kids in prison about financial literacy in hopes of creating discipline and financial awareness upon reentry.
